American Society of Agronomy Meetings

The Colorado State University Agronomy club is a member of SASES (Students of Agronomy, Soils and Environmental Sciences). SASES is the undergraduate branch of ASA (American Society of Agronomy), CSSA (Crop Science Society of America) and SSSA (Soil Science Society of America).

As a member of SASES the CSU Agronomy Club travels to National and Regional meetings held annually throughout the United States. At the meetings members of the club participate in contests, attend lectures, and make connections with students and professionals from all over the country.

2009 SASES Northern Regional Meeting

The CSU Agronomy Club most recently traveled to Manhattan, Kansas for the 2009 SASES Northern Regional Meeting.

At the Regional Meeting, the members of the Agronomy Club attended educational events such as tours of local Kansas agriculture and social events such as a Kansas City style Bar-B-Q.

 

 

 

2008 SASES National Meeting

The SASES 2008 National Meeting was held in Houston, Texas.

The Agronomy Club spent four days at the National Meeting in Houston, Texas. During this time the members participated in contests, coming in at second place in the Quiz Bowl and second place in the President's trophy.
